CPP Lending Library

The board of directors for the Florida West Coast Chapter is committed to assisting the membership with professional advancement and certification. As we looked at ways to enhance the services we could provide to our membership we recognized one of the stumbling blocks that prevented some of our members with pursuing the CPP designation was the cost and availability of the study materials. The board voted to purchase and maintain a Chapter CPP lending library. We have purchased all the study materials and have established lending policies for the membership. The books are available at no cost, however we do collect a deposit to hold to assure the books will be returned to us in a timely manner. Members may go to our chapter website to reserve a book or see what is available.

The response from the membership has been overwhelmingly positive. In addition to those members studying for the CPP exam we have members who are CPP's that have expressed a desire to check out materials for use in their jobs or to stay up to date on industry standards. This innovative investment by the chapter has already proven to benefit many of the chapter members and our hope is it will lead to a dramatic increase in the number of chapter members who become CPP's. Bodyguard Principles
by Frank Sciacca Jr.

From the Author:
"This book is based on life experiences pertaining to personal protection. I had the pleasure of working with great individuals who shared the passion and dedication of supplying this service. With this type of dedication in mind is why I have written a book that explains concepts, methods and reasons on personal protection rather than exposing or bragging about past assignments or those I've protected.
