ASIS Foundation 2010 Calendar

As this year of service to your ASIS chapter comes to a close, I would like to thank you for all your time and effort given to enhance the membership experience for your chapter members.

Whether you will continue on in your current position, step into another arena or leave open a spot for someone new to assume a leadership role, it is vital that planning for 2010 take place. The holidays are close upon us and now is the time to catch the attention of your members about the awards and scholarships that the ASIS Foundation makes available to members every year.

Do your members know about all the professional development courses that Foundation awards will fund in part or in full? The ASIS Foundation website provides criteria, applications and instructions on its website – www.asisfoundation.org.

Upcoming dates to note are November 30th is the deadline for submission of matching scholarships and December 4th applications for the first Walsh Award for 2010 will be accepted. (a new version of the application form will be posted this week)

For your convenience, I have attached an awards calendar for those of you who prefer a hard copy to reference. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time should you have questions or need help submitting applications to us.
