ASIS Florida West Coast Chapter Local Vendor Resources

I. B. Hale

Each year, one chapter per region in each award grouping is recognized for outstanding contribution to ASIS International and to the security profession. The I.B. Hale Award is presented to chapters, which have made the most significant contribution during the past year.

Regional Vice Presidents may nominate only one chapter from their region for each group's award. Chapter chairmen must submit their chapter nomination through their RVP. However, the RVP has the right to submit a chapter nomination without being petitioned to do so.

The Awards Committee evaluates nominated chapters' performance against the relevant criteria and recommends winners to the President. As many as two honorable mentions from each group may also be recommended. Chapter Chairpersons must send completed submission forms and any back up material to their Regional Vice President by November 15. Regional Vice Presidents must submit their selections to the Executive Director by December 1st.

The West Coast Chapter has won the award for the Region Four grouping for the following years: 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005.

We have also won an award for our chapter newsletter: 2000, 2001, 2002.
