Mike Middlebrooks

Mike Middlebrooks - It saddens me deeply to have to share the news that Mike Middlebrooks passed away early Easter Sunday morning. Mike has served on the chapter board for many years, and in 2008 served as Chapter Chairman. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and new Grandfather of a beautiful baby boy born the previous week.

Al Perotti, CPP, describes Mike as someone who always shared a smile easily and extended a handshake of friendship, Mike remembered the names of people as quickly as he met them and always talked straight with people. He seemed to have a personal relationship with everyone at TECO Energy and within the ASIS International Community.

Mike was the coordinator of security operations in the Security Department at TECO Energy. He started with TECO Energy and its companies in 1979 in Customer Service Revenue Protection and moved into the Security Dept. in 1996.

We will miss Mike’s, humor, leadership, friendship, interesting jokes, and his leading our chapter meetings and events in prayer.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 16th at Hopewell Funeral Home (6005 SR 39 S. Plant City) from 6 - 8 pm

Funeral Services will be Friday, April 17 @ First Baptist Church of Plant City (503 North Palmer St) @ 10:00 am
