Congratulations to our own Rick Jahnke, Chapter Treasurer, on his HCSO promotion

TAMPA — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office announced several promotions to its command staff on Monday, scheduled to take effect Dec. 3.

Among the rising employees is Major Wayne Bunton, who will move from District I to colonel of the Department of Detention Services. Bunton is the first African American to achieve the rank of colonel in the agency’s history.

Major Ciro Dominguez from the Training Division becomes colonel of the Department of Operational Support.

The other announced command staff promotions include: Captain O’Neal Jackson from District IV to major of District I; Captain Rick Roebuck from District III to major of the Training Division; and Lieutenant Rick Jahnke to Captain of District III;

In addition, Sgt. Michael Kuettner of District V will move to lieutenant of District III and Corporal Nicole Morgan of District II will be sergeant of District II.
